The race went well. I stayed vertical on the bike... progress!  My transition times were fast compared to previous races, which is actually what I was focusing on .. that and sustaining race paces.  The run was hilly and the heat was definitely turning up, but overall a good race for me.

I placed 2nd out of 15 in my Age Group and I. was very happy about that.  Although, the only quote that ran through my head was, "If you're not first.. your last" ... ha!  Shake & Bake!
